Joey Stimler, PT, DPT, attended the University of CIncinnati and graduated Summa-Cum-Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences. After undergrad, Joey went on to earn a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Indiana University.

Joey has been a lifelong runner which initially sparked his interest in Physical Therapy. He is passionate about helping individuals return to the activities they love to do. Joey has been exposed to many different populations and diagnoses while serving the greater Cincinnati area. He especially enjoys helping athletes achieve their highest level of performance.

Joey enjoys staying up to date on current research in the field of Physical Therapy, and is a big advocate for evidence-based practice. Treatment sessions with Joey include
a scientific based treatment consisting of therapeutic exercises such as stretching and strengthening for targeted muscle groups, followed by manual therapy that normally includes joint and soft tissue mobilizations.

Joey is currently certified in Dry Needling (DN-1) for the Cervical, Thoracic, and Upper Extremity through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, and is working towards
future certifications in Lumbar and Lower Extremity Dry Needling (DN-2), Blood Flow Restriction training, and Spinal Manipulative therapy.

Outside of work, Joey enjoys spending time with his wife and friends. He is also an avid marathon runner and a Cincinnati Bearcat supporter.
